Every precaution should be taken to ensure no spread of pandemic in Mysuru due to Dasara festivities: Karnataka Health Minister

<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K Sudhakar has said that every precaution should be taken to ensure that the pandemic does not spread in Mysuru due to Dasara festivities.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking to media persons in Mysuru today after reviewing the arrangements, the minister said  the number of people visiting Mysuru for the festivities has considerably reduced but there are reports that around 1000 people are visiting Chamundi temple every day.<br />'' <br />'' He pointed out that early testing has helped early detection of infection thereby reducing the fatality rate in the state.<br />'' <br />'' He informed that Karnataka conducted 1,08,241 Covid tests across 155 labs in a single day today after which the total tests conducted up to now has reached 69,52,835 tests.<br />'' <br />'' The state has a positivity rate of 5.42 percent. Out of 100440 active cases in the state, 947 are in ICU.<br />'' <br />''<br />''The case fatality rate stands at 1.49 percent. The recovery rate is 85.3 percent.</span><br />
