Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed that every migrant worker and labourers coming to the state should be transported safely to their home districts. He said that all migrant workers should be provided food and drinking water as soon as they enter the state border. Besides, arrangements for tankers should also be ensured for drinking water. He has also instructed to provide food and food grains to every needy person.<br />''<br />''Mr Yogi was reviewing Covid 19 situation in state at a meeting in Lucknow yesterday. State government is bringing back stranded migrant workers from other states for which workers special trains are being run.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that as of now more than 13 Lakh 50 thousand migrant labourers have been brought by 1018 Trains.  Additional Chief Secretory, Home , Awanish Awasthi said that the government has planed to bring back almost 18 Lakh workers by 1269 trains in state. He said 178 worker's trains are on the way and will reach the state soon.<br />''<br />''Most 397 workers trains have reached from Gujarat, 213 From Maharashtra and 171 trains From Punjab. Total more than 21 lakh  stranded workers have been brought back by trains and buses in state. On return of migrant workers to state, they are safely taken to the Quarantine Centers Where food packets and water is  made available to them. After thermal screening, workers found healthy are being sent for home quarantine along with ration kits.  During the home quarantine, they are also given a maintenance allowance of one thousand rupees.
