In Britain, events are marking 100 days to the 2012 Games opening ceremony, with a giant set of Olympic rings made up of 25,000 flowers being revealed at Kew Gardens. The first of 40 oaks to mark the Games will also be planted at the gardens and athletes and West End stars will perform in Trafalgar Square. The official London 2012 motto has been revealed as 'Inspire a generation'.
