Events held in Belfast to mark 100th anniversary of Titanic’s launch

A series of events have taken place in the Provincial capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast to mark the 100th anniversary of the launch of Titanic. The luxury liner was built in a Belfast shipyard. A religious service was held at the original slipway at 13 minutes past twelve, the exact time the ship was launched. Less than a year later, the Titanic sank on its maiden voyage after hitting an iceberg.
