BP Koirala India-Nepal Foundation of the Embassy of India organised a Talk programme at Kathmandu today to mark the 103rd Birth Anniversary of former Prime Minister of Nepal Late BP Koirala. On this occasion renowned writer Dr. Abhi Subedi spoke about the life of B.P. Koirala and the influence of his poetic thought and political ideology through the recent history of Nepal. Remembering similar ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Subedi also interacted with the audience. A large number of people including eminent academicians, writers, culture experts, students and media persons participated in the talk programme. In his address Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri highlighted the role played by BP Koirala in the making of Nepal. He also complemented the BP Koirala Foundation for playing a crucial role in promoting and fostering linkages between India and Nepal.
