Evacuation of stranded Zanskar passengers almost completed as 16 buses reach Zanskar, 11 more to reach

<span style="color: #222222;">In Ladakh, the evacuation of stranded passengers of Zanskar from Jammu has almost been completed as reported by Liaison Officer and till today all the passengers registered at Jammu got evacuated. The evacuation started on 3rd of May and till date 16 Buses reached Zanskar, 11 buses will reach Kargil this evening, five Buses departed this morning from Jammu and altogether 950 passengers, mostly students, got evacuated by the special efforts of the LAHDC, Kargil.<br />''<br />'' Executive Councilor Tourism and Zanskar Affairs of LAHDC, Kargil Punchok Tashi extended his gratitude to Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Chairman and CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan for proper arrangement like free transportation, boarding at Sonamarg and also arranged one of the premier Hotel of Kargil D-Zojila and Tourist Facilitation Centre, Kargil free of cost for the passenger of Zanskar for night halt besides free meal has also been arranged.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Tashi while talking to our correspondent Anayat Ali requested all the passenger to follow set of guidelines for home and institutional quarantine and also maintain proper hygiene on their arrival at home and added that passenger from Srinagar, Chadigarh and HP are also evacuating in phased manner. He further said that he has directed Nodal Officer of respective state to facilitate Bus service for the Pilgrimage of Zanskar numbering around 93 at Rewalsar Mandi, HP (TsoPema)  and the students at Manali , Dharamsala and Chandigarh around 200.<br />'' <br />'' To expedite in Evacuation of stranded passengers, the LAHDC, Kargil has increased the number of Buses to 13 in one day for Zanskar Sub-Division from Jammu.</span><br />
