Massive rescue operations are on to evacuate those stranded in flash flood and landslide affected areas of Uttarakhand. More than 150 helicopter sorties were conducted yesterday.
World's biggest Russian made helicopter MI-26 has been pressed into service. State Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna told reporters that Ghangaria, Gauri Kund and Kedarnath have been fully evacuated.
