EU's Debt crisis started affecting India's exports: India

New Delhi says, European Union's Debt crisis has started affecting India's exports. But, diversification of export destinations has offset the fall in shipment to European countries. Disclosing this, Commerce Secretary Rahul Khullar said in New Delhi, that the crisis has the potential to hit the world at large and not only India. He said that the growth in India's exports during the last eleven months has been largely due to diversification of export destinations through focussed market schemes. This has helped India's trade relations with countries like Africa and West Asia. He said, India's look east policy has also contributed significantly to its growth. AIR correspondent reports, after Greece, Spain and Portugal, Ireland has been hit by the debt crisis affecting the overall growth of European Union's economy.
