Eurozone Finance Ministers have said they welcome the efforts being made by the Greek government to reduce the country's huge budget deficit. Their comments came as the ministers from the sixteen nations that share the euro – the Eurogroup – meet in Brussels. Luxembourg Finance Minister Jean-Claude Juncker said the ministers believed Greece would do what is necessary. Dutch Finance Minister Wouter Bos said he was convinced Greece was prepared to take the necessary tough measures. However, Germany's finance minister adopted a tougher line. Golfgang Schaeuble said in tackling it they are entitled to support but that doesn't mean that we can spare Greece taking the necessary steps.
