Europe leaders rattled as Italy post-poll deadlock continues

The leader of Italy's Centre-Left has described the impasse following the country's general election as dramatic.But, Pier Luigi Bersani, whose coalition won most seats in Parliament, gave no clear answer to the question which group was his preferred partner in Government – the Centre-Right or the Party of Protest led by Beppe Grillo.The deadlock in Italy has rattled Europe's leaders. Germany, France and Spain have called on Italy to establish a stable Government as soon as possible. They fear any uncertainty will damage the fledgling Euro Zone. Leader of the Right-wing coalition, former Prime Minister Silvio Bwerlusconi has said, Italy cannot be left ungoverned and over the days there will be attempts to form a governing coalition.
