In the UEFA Euro Championship in France, Cristiano Ronaldo missed a late penalty as Portugal were held to a goal-less draw by Austria in a Group-F game in Paris last night. Austrian goal keeper Robert Almer made some excellent saves denying Ronaldo on several occasions.This was Portugal's second consecutive goal-less draw of the tournament and Group-F is still wide open.Hungary, which drew with debutants Iceland 1-1 last evening, currently top the Group.Earlier in Group-E, Belgium defeated Ireland, 3-0 to strengthen their chances of advancing to the last-16 stage.Later tonight, in the final two Group-A fixtures, France will take on Switzerland, while Romania will meet Albania. France has already made it to the last-16 stage. The second team to qualify from the Group will be decided today.
