Euro falls by more than 1% against Swiss Franc

Euro has fallen on international money markets because of concerns about the Greek debt crisis. The Euro fell by more than one per cent against the Swiss Franc and since Wednesday it is down by more than three cents against the dollar. In a speech to the Parliament, Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou insisted that he would stay in power and fight to win approval for austerity measures being demanded by the European Union. He is due to announce details of Cabinet reshuffle early today.
