The European single currency dropped below 1.1 US dollars in early Asian trade today amid growing concern Greece was headed for financial collapse and a possible Euro zone exit. The European Central Bank said, it would not increase its financial support to Greek banks. It was the first time since early June that the 19-nation currency fell below US dollars.
