Italy will take on defending champions Spain in the final of the Euro Cup Football tournament at Kiev in Ukraine tonight. Having beaten strongly fancied Germany 2-1 in Thursday's second semi-final in Warsaw, 1968 title-winners Italy will contest a Euro final for the first time since their extra-time loss to France in 2000. Both the teams have played 26 matches against each other. Spain won 8, Italy have won 7, and 11 games were drawn. Reigning world and European champions Spain are seeking to become the first team in history to win three consecutive major titles. The defending champions scraped into the final via a penalty shoot-out win over Portugal after they were held to a goaless draw after extra-time. The tournament is being co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine.
