England take on Italy tonight in the last quarter-final match of the Euro 2012 football tournament at Kiev, Ukraine. England are seeking to reach the last four of a major tournament for the first time in 16 years. The winners of the match will face Germany in the second semi-final on the 28th of June. Last night in the third quarter-final at Donetsk, Ukraine, defending champions Spain recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over a feeble France and stormed into the semi-finals. Xabi Alonso struck twice in his 100th international. It was also world champion Spain's first competitive win over the French. Spain will play against Portugal in the first semi-final on the 27th of June.
