Germany start as favourites as they have won all four matches in the tournament so far and are on a 15-match winning run in competitive matches. However, Italy have history behind them and a magnificent midfielder Andrea Pirlo to lead them to victory. Three-time European champions Germany have never beaten Italy in seven tournament matches. Tonight's winners will face holders Spain at Kiev, Ukraine, on Sunday. In the first semi-final in Donetsk in Ukraine last night, Spain defeated Portugal 4-2 in penalties and became the first team to reach the Euro Cup finals for the second consecutive time.
