Ethiopia has evinced interest in Haryana’s concept of Industrial Model Township (IMT) and has sought its cooperation for the development of similar projects and food parks there. A high level Ethiopian delegation led by President, Development Bank of Ethiopia Mr. Esayas Bahire Gebremeskel, visited Industrial Model Township (IMT) Manesar in Gurgaon district to get first hand idea of the world class industrial infrastructure developed by the State’s nodal agency, the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC). The Ethiopian delegation appreciated the concept of Industrial Model Township and infrastructure created by HSIIDC at IMT Manesar and sought cooperation between two sides for the development of similar projects more particularly food parks in their country.It was revealed that the visit will also be followed by the visits by the representatives of various African nations.
