Congress said that prices of essential commodities will come down in the near future. Briefing mediapersons in New Delhi today, Congress spokesman, Mr Abhishek Singhvi said that government is very serious and making all efforts to ease the hardships of common man being affected by the rise in prices. Replying to a question on the recommendation to hike the prices of petroleum products, Mr Singhvi said that unless there is an unavoidable situation, prices of petroleum products will not be increased. He said, even if the government is forced to hike the prices, it will take care of the common man's interest in this regard. <br/>
