<span style="color: #222222;">The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has allowed public other than its subscribers to avail medical services at its under-utilised hospitals. According to an official release, the decision was taken during the ESIC's meeting chaired by Minister of Labour and Employment Santosh Kumar Gangwar. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The services to the non- insured  persons will be available after levying user charges at a subsidised rate of 10 rupees  for OPD consultation and at 25 per cent  of Central Government Health Services' package rates for in-patients. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In addition to this,  the ESIC will provide medicines on actual rate initially for one year on a pilot basis. The Labour Ministry also  decided to enhance the exemption limit for payment of employees' share of contribution from 137 rupees to 176 rupees. </span><br />'' <br />''
