Ernakulam land slide mess to clear, traffic to run on

In Kerala, work is in full swing to remove the debris from the railway track near Mulanthuruthy in Ernakulam district where land slides disrupted rail traffic on the Ernakulam- Kottayam route on Friday. Southern Railway sources said the clearing of the debris is expected to be completed by this afternoon.All trains, including the Venad, Shabari and Parasuram Express have been diverted via Alappuzha. The Railways will run a link train between Kayamkulam and Kottayam for the benefit of passengers of Venad Express, while the Parasuram Express will halt at all stations between Kayamkulam and Ernakulam.
