The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) today launched a campaign under the slogan "Zayed's Legacy to Support Yemeni People" for the families of martyrs and those wounded. Named after the President of the UAE, the campaign hopes to provide the affected families with Eid clothing, gifts for children, and cash distribution along with vouchers to purchase necessities. The distribution process will start in various Yemeni governorates by the end of this week and will last until the third day of Eid al-Adha.<br/><br/>Speaking on the launch of the campaign, Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al-Falahi, Secretary-General of the ERC said that "this campaign is a continuation of the UAE's humanitarian, relief and development approach in Yemen, and reflects the pride of the UAE and its people in the brotherly people of Yemen and their sacrifices." He also confirmed the determination of the UAE to continue its endeavours, humanitarian.
