Employees Provident Fund Organisation, EPFO, will watch the result of its 5 per cent investment in stock markets this fiscal before taking a call on increasing the proportion. Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya Friday said that they are putting in the market approximately five thousand to 6 thousand crore rupees by March 2016 and depending upon the result of this, the EPFO will proceed further.Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha Friday expressed hope that the Employees Provident Fund Organisation will increase its investments in stock market from 5 per cent of its incremental deposits to 15 per cent.
