Employees Provident Fund Organisation, EPFO, has settled nearly eight lakh claims during September this year. It has also responded to more than 16 thousand grievances. A Labour and Employment Ministry statement issued in New Delhi said, the fund body has received over six thousand crore rupees under remittances in the month compared to 5,961 crore rupees in August. The statement said, the EPFO, has updated 4.55 crore accounts in September.
