Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has settled around 54 lakh claims during the current financial year. Central Provident Fund Commissioner K K Jalan today said that 68 per cent of these claims have been settled within 10 days. He said that more than 14 crore annual accounts have already been updated before the mandated time, taking the cumulative total to 96 per cent. Mr Jalan stated that 4700 establishments made use of on line registration and got their PF codes in July and August this year.
