Employees' Provident Fund Organisation, EPFO has made it mandatory for firms to provide their employees' bank account numbers with IFSC code to facilitate allotment of Universal PF account number and payment to its subscribers. EPFO in its order has said that the firms will have to furnish the required information for existing members by 15th of next month.Besides, the employers shall provide the information regarding bank account and IFSC code in respect of previous members under their employment by October end.It also said, the subscribers of the fund who are presently not employees of any establishment will have to provide the required information by November end
