<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Environment & Forest and Climate change Dr. Harsh Vardhan today said that environment protection should become a big mass movement. He was speaking after inaugurating the Institute for Bio-resource and Sustainable Development at Shillong in Meghalaya. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The minister further urged people to change their behaviour and adopt green good practices. He also said that in last four years the government has laid two lakh fifty thousand kilometers of optical fibres. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Vardhan said that earlier only 356 kilometres of optical fibres were laid during the tenure of erstwhile governments.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meghalaya Urban Affairs Minister Hamletson Dohling was also present on the occasion.   </span><br />''  <br />
