In Uttar Pradesh, the cold claimed seven lives on Tuesday.<br/> In Punjab, the temperature is hovering 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in Amritsar. Similar reports are coming from Haryan also.<br/>In Himachal Pradesh, the state government closed the schools due to cold.<br/>The day began with rainy atmosphere this morning in the national capital region and it may continue till evening. Light rainfall of 1.6 millimeter, was recorded on Tuesday night. However sky remained clear with no fog.
