The Entire Cable TV network will be digitised by the end of 2016. <br/><br/>This information was given by the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting R. Jaya in her introductory remarks in the workshop of state level nodal officers for Cable TV Digitisation in Jaipur today.<br/><br/>She said that the third phase of digitisation programme is in progress under which all the cities of with population of more than one lakh shall be covered by end of this year. Outlining the benefits of digitisation she said consumers can get channels of their own choice with good picture and sound quality.
