Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today said, ensuring job security, wage security and social security for workers is topmost priority for the government. <br/><br/>In his message on International Labour Day, Mr Dattatreya said, his Ministry is committed to employment generation by facilitating ease of doing business including that for startups and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs. <br/><br/>He said, employment creation is central to growth and development strategy as India is the fastest growing nation which is also endowed with the largest young workforce. <br/><br/>The Minister said, government is working for bringing transparency and accountability in enforcement of labour laws. <br/><br/>He said, his Ministry is working to simplfy, consolidate and rationalize the provisions of the 43 labour laws in 4 Labour Codes. <br/><br/>These are Labour Code on Wages, Industrial Relations, Social Security and Welfare and Safety and Working Conditions.
