Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh said that the biggest achievement of UPA Government in the last three years is protecting the growth rate of economy much better than other countries in the world, in the backdrop of global economic crisis.Speaking to Prasar Bharati he said even though the growth rate has been impacted this year, the challenge is to ensure a faster, sustainable and more inclusive growth of the economy. He further said that modern technological devices are necessary to cut-out the wastes and leakages in the delivery mechanism .Dr. Singh also said the UPA Government will consult all its allies when it comes to taking tough decisions.
