Ensure adequate oxygen availability in hospitals: UP CM to officials

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked officials to ensure availability of oxygen in the hospitals and said that if anyone is found involved in black marketing of oxygen then FIR will be filed against him. He has also asked officials to focus on Lucknow, Meerut Gorakhpur Prayagraj and Saharanpur districts.<br />'' <br />'' Presiding over a review meeting Yogi Adityanath directed the senior officials of the health department to further strengthen the health services at the District Hospitals,<br />'' <br />'' Community Health Centres and Primary Health Centres. He said that the oxygen should be available on the prescribed rate and guard against its black marketing.<br />'' <br />'' The CM asked to pay extra attention to Lucknow, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Saharanpur and Muzaffarnagar and treatment facilities in these districts should be strengthened and contact tracing to be expedited. These are the districts where a surge is being seen in new cases.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, 6895 new covid patients have been found in the state in the last 24 hours taking the toll of active cases to 67335. Maximum 904 new cases were found in state capital Lucknow which is having the highest number of Covid infected cases in the state. Yesterday 113 patients lost their lives due to the deadly virus. <br />''  <br />
