In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Education Dr. Subhas Sarkar said as per the All India Survey on Higher Education report 2020-21 the total enrolments in higher education in the country was over 4.13 crore whereas in 2019-20, the total enrolment was over 3.85  crore.<br />''<br />''He informed that during the period over 12 lakh 50 thousand female enrolment were registered.     </span><br />
