Assam Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna has said that the state has enough food stock in FCI for rice. Talking to AIR Guwahati correspondent, Mr. Krishna said that <b>10 thousand </b>metric tonne pulse is expected to reach the state in one week. He said that government has also found out from open market that rice is available for 10 days. He assured that district administration is taking care of migrant workers . The Chief Secretary also said that government has identified medical colleges and hospitals for Covid 19 patients. <br />''<br />''He said that around 72 thousand people have been put on home quarantine. The Chief Secretary said that necessary PPE and triple layer masks have been given to various people. Mr. Krishna said that steps have been taken to prevent circulation of fake news.
