Indian Meteorological Department, IMD has said that an enhanced activity of the southwest monsoon will bring good rainfall in several parts of the country for the next three-four days which can give breather to many regions reeling under severe water deficiency. <br/><br/>IMD Director-General Laxman Singh Rathore said, there is a circulation in both the sides of the country. <br/><br/>He said, there is a low pressure area over north Gujarat and Rajasthan and another low pressure area in Jharkhand and adjoining areas of Gangetic West Bengal and Bihar. <br/><br/>He said, it will bring a good amount of rainfall till September 23rd. Rathore said, the fresh round of enhanced activity of monsoon has also stopped the withdrawal of monsoon for a short period. <br/><br/>He said good rainfall activity will continue until September 23, but the monsoon will start withdrawing rapidly from several parts thereafter.<br/>The MeT department has predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarkhand, Haryana and Rajasthan today.<br/><br/>
