England to resume its play against India from score of 268/8 today

In the Mohali Test, England will resume its play on the second day today against India, from the overnight score of 268 for 8. For visitors, Adil Rashid and Gareth Batty are at the crease.On the first day, yesterday, English side after winning the toss could not capitalise on it. They lost the top 5 batsman at the score of 144. Jonny Bairstow with 89 revived the English batting. For India Umesh Yadav, Jayant Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja claimed two wickets each while Mohammed Shami and R Ashwin shared one wicket a piece.India made two changes, handing Test debut to Karun Nair in place of injured KL Rahul and replacing Wriddhimnan Saha with Parthiv Patel, who is back in the Test side for the first time since August 2008.India is currently leading the five Test series, 1-nil. They had won the last game at Visakhapatnam by 246 runs. The first Test had ended in a draw.
