The hosts have already amassed a huge total and have a substantial lead. What must worry India is that the home side's lead is already higher than the best ever chase managed on this ground which was 284 for 6 by England against New Zealand in 2004. Without Virender Sehwag, it is a daunting task for Team India. Their only hope is that the Trent Bridge track seems to have eased out considerably and if Indian batsmen apply themselves it would not be very difficult to save the match.
