England tighten grip on third test against India

England were 605 for five against India on day three of the third Cricket test at Birmingham a shortwhile ago. Alastair Cook made his second test double century as England took their commanding total to 503 for three when rain brought an early lunch. Earlier, India were all out for 224 runs in their first innings.England are on course for the victory that would give them an unassailable 3-0 lead in the four-match series and lift them to the top of the world rankings. England won the first two tests at Lord's and Trent Bridge.
