England thrash India by 9 wickets in Brisbane ODI

England crushed Team India by 9 wickets in the tri-nation ODI series match at Brisbane . Skipper MS Dhoni's decision to bat first backfired badly as India were skittled out for a paltry 153 in 39.3 overs. English pacers put up a feiry performance, with Steven Finn leading the assault. He cleaned up most of India's top and middle order, bagging 5 wickets. James Anderson claimed 4 wickets, while spinner Moeen Ali took one. For India, Stuart Binny was the best batsman. He made 44. Dhoni, Ajinkhya Rahane and Ambati Rayadu were the only other players who scored in double digits.England were spot on with the bat as well, as they eased past the target with 135 balls to spare. Opener Ian Bell top scored with an unbeaten 88, while James Taylor made 56 not out. Binny took the only wicket for India.Finn was adjudged man of the match.This was India's second defeat of the series in as many games. They had lost their opener by 4 wickets against hosts Australia at Melbourne.In the next game on Friday, England will meet Australia at Hobart. Team India will play next Monday against the hosts at Sydney.
