England takes lead, first Test heads towards draw

First Cricket test between India and England is heading towards a draw, England will resume their second innings today with a lead of 163 runs with 10 wickets in hand on the last day of the first test against the hosts at Rajkot in Gujarat.English Opener Haseeb Hameed on 62 and Alastair Cook on 46 will resume batting with overnight score of 114 runs in their second innings. Earlier, India posted 488 runs in their first innings as opener Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara scored centuries. England had amassed 537 in their first innings on back of Joe Root, Moeen Ali and Ben Stokes' century. This is the first cricket test match of the 5 match series. The next match will be played at Vishakhapatnam from 17th of this month.
