Rahul Dravid today earned a surprise recall to shore up India's struggling batting line-up in the current England tour. The 16-member India squad led by M.S. Dhoni is to take on England in the Twenty20 and one-day cricket series beginning August 3. Harbhajan Singh was dropped due to injury along with another star injured player Yuvraj Singh. Karnataka paceman Vinay Kumar and wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel were recalled. Paceman S Sreesanth, left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha and all-rounder Yusuf Pathan also failed to make it to the team announced by the BCCI secretary N Srinivasan after a meeting of the selection committee in Chennai. India will play the lone Twenty-20 match in Manchester followed by five one-dayers at Chester-Le-Street, Southampton, London and Cardiff.
