England heads for a draw; India need 310 runs to win

England have declared their second innings at 260 for 3 in the post-lunch session to set an improbable victory target of 310 for India on the fifth and final day of the opening cricket Test at Rajkot. India is Chasing the target, the match is heading towards a draw. Earlier this morning, the visitors resumed their second innings play with a lead of 163 runs with 10 wickets in hand. India posted 488 runs in their first innings as opener Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara scored centuries.England had amassed 537 in their first innings on back of Joe Root, Moeen Ali and Ben Stokes' centuries. This is the first cricket test match of the 5 match series. The next match will be played at Vishakhapatnam from 17th of this month.
