England defeated Bangladesh by 22 runs in the first cricket test in Chittagong. Bangladesh, needed 33 runs for what would have been their first win over England in nine attempts. But Ben Stokes took the last two Bangladesh wickets in three balls to deprive the hosts of an historic victory. Stokes was named man of the match for taking six wickets in two innings and also scoring 85 in England's second innings. The second and final cricket Test will start in Dhaka on Friday. England will then head to India for a five-Test tour the first of which starts in Khanderi on the outskirts of Rajkot from the 9th of next month.
