England beat India in final test at Oval to sweep series 4-0

England have made a clean sweep of the four test cricket series against India. The hosts won the last Test at oval by an innings and 8 runs. Team India, after following on in the fourth and last Test was bundled out at 283 on the final day of the match.Only Sachin Tendulkar at 91 and Amit Mishra at 84 put up some resistance against the accurate bowling attack of the hosts. The complexion of the game changed dramatically after their dismissals as the visitors lost as many as seven wickets for a mere 21 runs at the stroke of tea.For England, Swann was the most successful bowler, having taken 6 wickets. Broad took 2 wickets while Anderson and Bresnan took 1 wicket each.The Scores:England 591 for 6 declaredIndia- 300 and 283.With this emphatic victory, England officially crowned themselves the number one team in Test rankings with 125 points followed by South Africa with 118 points.
