England beat Bangladesh by 36 runs in Women's World T20 match

England defeated Bangladesh by 36 runs in the Women's World T20 match in Bengaluru today. Earlier, England batting first after winning the toss, scored 153 for 7 in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Bangladesh women could score only 117 for 6 in 20 overs. For England, C.M.Edwards top scored with 60 runs and A.Shrubsole claimed 2 Bangladeshi wickets giving away 27 runs. For Bangladesh, Nigar Sultana was the highest scorer with 35 followed by Salma Khatun who remained unbeaten with 32. Jahanara Alam claimed three English wickets giving away 32 runs.
