Union Minister for Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy, Piyush Goyal today asserted that energy security is an integral part of country's national security. He added that in today's world, national security encompasses cyber security, food security, social security and is not merely confined to arms and equipments security. <br/><br/> At any critical juncture, if India becomes dependent on a foreign power, the national security would be seriously compromised. He was speaking at the Annual Convention of the Indian Electrical & Electronics Equipment Manufacturers' Association IEEMA in Mumbai.
