The Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday said that the Country needs to look beyond coal based power plants to meet its energy requirements. Speaking at a function in New Delhi, Mr Mukherjee underlined the need for exploiting other source of energy for the purpose. He said that agitations against setting up of nuclear power plants are preventing the country from achieving its energy requirement.
