In Haryana, the power distribution corporations have made it mandatory to use energy efficient gadgets for release of new tube well connections. It was revealed in a seminar organised by the Haryana Power Utilities in the Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on Tuesday. It was also revealed in the seminar that there is a potential to conserve electricity up to 20 to 25 per cent by modernisation of electrical equipment in the industrial sector which consumes about 50 per cent of the commercial energy produced in India.
