End of day four India 82 for 6 against New Zealand

At Ahmedabad, India were staring defeat in the first Cricket Test against New Zealand at close of play on the fourth day today, after a stunning top-order collapse left them tottering at 82 for six in their second innings. Lanky paceman Chris Martin did most of the damage with figures of five for 25. India who secured a slender first innings lead of 28 runs after dismissing the Kiwis for 459 in their first knock, are now 110 runs ahead with only four second innings wickets in hand.
