In Uttar Pradesh the government has announced to make encroachment on government properties a cognisable criminal offence.Appealing people to cooperate the government agencies on anti-encroachment drive against illegal possession of public properties in the state, the Urban Development Minister of the State Mohammad Azam Khan has said that encroachment would soon be made a cognisable offence.
