In Uttar Pradesh, with three more children succumbed to the disease during past twenty four hours in BRD Medical College Hospital of Gorakhpur, the encephalitis toll has mounted to 403. According to official sources, 15 new patients suffering from brain fever were admitted to the hospital on Sunday. AIR Gorakhpur correspondent reports that 294 patients are undergoing treatment in different government hospitals of the region.
